Los Haroldos Estate Bonarda 2021 (Mendoza, Argentina)
Bodega Los Haroldos began humbly in 1939, when founder Haroldo Santos Falasco, also known as “Don Lolo,” began selling wines from his bicycle. Now his grandson Jorge Falasco runs the family business along with his children, continuing to honor and cherish the hard work and drive of Don Lolo.
This high altitude red has ample notes of dark fruit and a subtle peppery-ness on the nose. The palate carries notes of warm spices and dark fruit, with supple tannins and a refreshing acidity thanks to the high elevation vines. With some the acidity will relax some making for a smoother, richer red. Choose your own adventure!
