Grochau Cellars 'Commuter Cuvee' Pinot Noir 2021 (Willamette Valley, Oregon)
John and Karen Grochau established Grochau cellars in 2002. Their philosophy is simple: Don't Screw It Up. Resist the urge to do to much. Make honest, accurate wine that is true to its roots.
We get touches of berry and warm spices on the nose. The palate has juicy dark red fruit with a touch of oak adding texture to the palate. Give a bit of air if you’re able. This is a wonderful example of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir for only $20.
Food Ideas: Portobella burger with smoked provolone, grilled salmon, mussels with fresh tomatoes and chorizo, pork loin with cherry wine sauce
