Jérémie Huchet 'La Chauvinière' Muscadet 2022 (Loire Valley, France)
Since taking over his family’s estate in 2001, Jérémie Huchet has become something of a Muscadet superstar, expanding what was originally a humble 6 hectares of vineyards to around 65 hectares as well as collaborating with and incorporating a variety of other chateaux into their production.
This wine is an homage to the Huchet winery’s beginnings, named after Domaine de la Chauviniére, a former monastery which has been in his family for four generations. The granite rich soils here provide this wine with its iconic minerality, while bright notes of lime zest, green apple, and crunchy pear provide the perfect amount of beautiful fruit and juicy acidity.
Food Ideas: Fried feta-stuffed olives, sole meunière, Caesar salad, moules frites, crispy skin roast chicken with buttery potatoes
ABV: 12%
