Fukucho 'Seaside' Junmai Sparkling Sake (Hiroshima, Japan)
This Junmai sake is made sparkling through a secondary fermentation that takes place in the bottle, the same method many winemakers use to make fun, fizzy Petillant Naturel style wines! Miho Imada is the brewery owner and one of only around 30 female Tojis (sake brewmasters) in Japan. She has an amazing passion and curiosity for sake brewing and it is evident in this bottle. Served nicely chilled on a sunny day, with anything that comes from the sea, and you’re in for a good time.
