Tagua Tagua Sauvignon Blanc 2024 (Central Valley, Chile)
José Gregorio Correa founded the Tagua Tagua winery 120 years ago, and he and his family are largely regarded as one of Chile’s pioneering wine families. Now run by the family’s 5th generation, the estate has around 600 hectares of vineyards in Chile’s Central Valley, including plots in the Rapel, Maule and Colchagua Valleys. Prioritizing environmental preservation as well as sustainable farming, they produce wines that are pure and unmanipulated expressions of Chile’s vast, wild wine country.
This Sauvignon Blanc is bright and minerally, with notes of zippy citrus, white stone fruits, and fresh tender herbs. The ripe fruit on the palate is balanced by a subtle minerality and bright, juicy acidity.
Food Ideas: Shrimp ceviche, citrus salad with goat cheese and arugula, crab cakes with remoulade, coconut-miso salmon curry
